ENGLISH: POSTGRADUATE COURSE IN MUSIC (RAMON LLULL UNIVERSITY - Barcelona)
POSTGRADUATE COURSE IN MUSIC PERFORMANCE: THE LUTHIER SCHOOL OF MUSIC in collaboration with THE RAMON LLULL UNIVERSITY Offers a postgraduate course for instrumentalists and singers from Spain and abroad with the aim of improving their artistic level. Aims · To guide the students in strengthening their musical independence and creativity. · To work on a wide range of solo and chamber works of various periods and styles. · To develop the musician´s stage presence. Addressees Instrumentalists and singers of all nationalities having a university degree or equivalent. This postgraduate programme is currently available in the following subjects: Cello, Clarinet, Double bass, Flute, Guitar, Oboe, Piano, Saxophone, Singing, Viola, Violin. Selection process Candidates must pass an entrance exam consisting of a 30 to 45 minute long programme of concert repertoire, with works or movements from at least three different periods or styles. There will be a sight-reading test. These tests take place during the months of June and September. Evaluation Every three month term the student will perform a 20 to 40 minute long programme of concert repertoire in order to demonstrate his level of proficiency and progress. Course programme · Duration: 360 hours (36 credits) in two years comprising individual and collective lessons, master classes and public recitals. · Calendar: October to June.
